Our Story

Over a Century of Community, Competition, and Camaraderie

Brighton Baths Athletic Club was founded in 1910 by Mr Hughie Rogers.  The objective of the founding members was to promote sporting activities , namely  swimming and running for members of the community.

Our club has continued this vision and still holds year-round activities for the community by offering swimming, running, walking, aquathons and triathlon programs for its members.

During our rich history, several members have represented our state and country in various sports. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club that enjoys and promotes healthy lifestyles for members of all ages.

The Brighton Baths Athletic Club stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of camaraderie and athleticism that Mr. Rogers and subsequent BBAC club presidents envisioned.

We are proud to be one of the oldest sporting clubs in Australia.
